Step 4. - When you straighten your hair, it looks better when you have a natural part. Don't part your hair in an completely straight line because that will show the frizz at the top.
Step 5. - Take your time when you straighten so that it looks good. When you rush, it doesn't turn out as good as it would when you took your time.
Step 6. - Stand in front of a mirror. Get a second mirror and look at the back of your head to make sure it is completely straight. If not, straighten the whole back of your head to make sure you got every part.
Step 7. - If your hair is not straight at the ends, hold the straightener there (no longer than 5-7 second). If that still does not work, try straightening it in smaller sections to get it straight.
Step 8. - Don't make your hair slick straight. Add some volume to it to make it look cuter and stylish. Push it up at the roots and puff the top a bit, but don't go overboard!
Step 9. - When you are straightening your hair, straighten it medium to fast and go over it more than once. It will make your hair softer, silkier, and straighter!
Step 10. - To make your hair the shiniest and silkiest, use BioSilk Silk Therapy. It is pretty cheap and gets your hair shinier and very silky. Sedu Prom Hairstyles.

THERMAL SPRAY submitted by: Julie,
Try to use a thermal spray before using your flat iron.
-
shampoo, wash, condition hair
-
blow-dry until dry to the touch
-
put top half of hair up in a pin
-
spray bottom half of hair (thermal spray ie: CHI)
-
evenly comb through the hair
-
flat iron sections and do the same to top half
Using the thermal spray will keep your hair silky soft. does not make it sticky, but natural looking and FEELING fabulous! You can buy the thermal spray in most hair salons... pricier than a normal product, but WAY worth it!
** For Relaxed Hair ** submitted by: Christine Tynes,
Most women who have relaxed hair know well that applying lots of heat to your already chemically processesed hair is not a good idea ... however, reality does set in sometimes and you know that you may need to do it.
Here are a few tips regarding care of your hair and using the Sedu Flat Iron
1. Make sure your hair is washed/clean. If you use lots of heavy hair care products on your hair you may need to use a simple clarifying shampoo -- like Neutrogena -- to get the build up and gunk out.
2. CONDITION, CONDITION, CONDITION. I cannot say this enough. You can use a flat iron like the Sedu well if you keep your hair well conditioned. I recommend a good reconstructing conditioner (doesn't have to be too expensive) applied once a week and left on your hair for 20-30 mins then rinsed out with look warm water.
3. I blow dry my hair with a simple Anti-Static Ionic Ceramic Hair Dryer you can buy one on this site if you wish or a beauty supply store and use a detangling & reconstructer conditioner then apply a light weight moisturizing lotion-style conditioner. (Remember that you are applying lots of heat to your hair so the extra conditioners will make a big difference).
4. Finally, before using the Sedu flat iron, I run an ample amount of BioSilk Silk Therapy you can also find this product on this web site. It is the clear, see through type of serum -- This will help your relaxed hair shine and have movement and body without tons of build up that you may otherwise get from applying another conditioning type lotion.
5. Then use the Sedu! You may want to section your hair with bobby pins or clips while you do each section of your hair. Also, make sure you use a good heat setting. I have chosen the 140 heat setting. I have thin relaxed hair ... if your hair is strong and thick then you may want to use a bit higher but not too high. Remember, you have already chemically altered your hair. Applying too hot of a heat will cause your hair to dry up and snap off.
No need usually to apply anything after that. Enjoy your new Sedu Flat Iron
